Head Chef / Owner
A native to the area Billy grew up in a small house by the harbour in Cellardyke, only 5 minutes from the restaurant door.
Proudly representing Scotland at the culinary World Cup and culinary olympics in his youth, Billy spent the majority of his career in Edinburgh working in some of Scotland's most prestigious Michelin Star restaurants. Before returning home to the
East Neuk to open The Cellar in April 2014.

Michael Whytock
Originally from Perth, Michael took over as Restaurant Manager in April 2022. bringing with him a wealth of experience having spent the last 5 years working for Simon Rogan at L'Enclume and Henrock in the Lake District.

Brandon Lamont
Brandon oversee's the pastry section in the kitchen. Originally from Glenrothes he studied catering at Fife College while working in some of Fifes best known hotels and restaurants before joining The Cellar in 2018

Daniel Croft
Kirkcaldy born Daniel studied catering at Fife College, and was part of our kitchen team in 2018. after spending some time traveling and working around some notable restaurants in both Australia and New Zealand, Dan rejoined us in 2020.
